نبذة عن الرواية

تقع في 422 صفحة من الحجم المتوسط صدر مؤخراً عن دار الفارابي في بيروت ولوحة الغلاف للفنان الفلسطيني محمد نصرالله وتدور وقائعها في البحرين عبر تقنية فنية توظف المونتاج السينمائي للأحداث منذ 14فبراير 2011 مع بداية شرارة الأزمة السياسة التي عصفت بالبحرين وأحدثت شرخاً اجتماعياً واسعاً.
تنقسم الرواية الى فصول عدة تتناول الشريحتين الاجتماعيتين الغنية والفقيرة المدقعة التي تعيش قاع المدينة وانعكاس الأحداث عليهما من خلال صراع اجتماعي وسياسي ونفسي يتجسد في علاقات عدة بما جرى عبر الأحداث التي مرت وخاصة ما وقع منها خلال حالة الطوارئ وما شهدته تلك المرحلة من وقائع منها علاقة عاطفية بين متحابين من كلتا الطائفتين وتداعيات الأحداث عليهما.
الفصل الأول المعنون
(الأسماك تحيا على اليابسة)
يتناول الحقبة الأولى التي ولد فيها الصراع الاجتماعي وتنامى مع منتصف القرن العشرون الماضي وفيه تبرز الشخوص منذ طفولتها لتشكل نسيجاً للمرحلة التالية التي انفجرت فيها الأحداث الدامية.
تغوص الرواية في زمن البحرين منذ القرن العشرين وبدايته عبر توظيف المونتاج السينمائي في استجلاء الأحداث التي شهدتها البحرين منذ تلك الحقب السحيقة من خلال شخوص ورموز عاشت تلك المراحل وعاصرت الوقائع الأخيرة.
تبدأ فصول الرواية عشية المظاهرات والمسيرات والاحتجاجات وما تلاها من تداعيات دموية بالإضافة إلى حالة الانشطار الاجتماعي التي مرت بها البلاد ولا تنتهي حتى الساعة إذا تظل أحداثها مستمرة حتى بعد الانتهاء من قراءة الرواية.
